The National Union of Landscape Companies (Unep) is the “French team” of landscape gardeners. Founded in 1963, it is the only professional landscape organization recognized by the public authorities. It represents around 34,000 landscape companies dedicated to the design, maintenance, and enhancement of natural spaces, including parks, gardens, green buildings, interior landscaping, ecological engineering, tree care, and more. With 135,000 professionals, it is the leading driving force behind urban greening and renaturation. Through its 13 regional unions, Unep works closely with its thousands of members, defends the interests of companies in the landscape and garden sector, develops the profession’s social standards, and leads the creation of professional rules for the trade. For further information, please contact Juliette Allenet, regional delegate, at jallenet@unep-fr.org.
