Description
The Kress MasterSeries KR248E is an all-wheel-drive robotic mower with full rear suspension and wide tires, designed to handle slopes of up to 84% (40°) as well as lateral inclines of 46.6% (25°). It features a 60 V, 20 Ah (1.2 kWh) battery pack with a standard charging time of 60 minutes, enabling an adjustable working speed of 0.5 to 1.3 m/s and a coverage capacity of up to 40,000 m² over a 48-hour period. The cutting unit is based on a floating deck with a width of 420 mm and 20 mm overlap between passes, offering electric height adjustment from 10 to 100 mm with ±1 mm precision for close cutting, along with an automatic disc-lift system when turning to protect the turf. Navigation and obstacle avoidance rely on multi-sensor data fusion integrating RTK positioning, stereo vision, a LiDAR rangefinder, and ultrasonic transducers, ensuring course stability under tree cover and active detection of surface elements.
