Description
The Steelwrist TSX6 tree shear features a fixed blade and a powerful cylinder for optimal cutting power and to ensure safe cutting. The two grapple arms are designed to provide the best possible grip around the tree trunk. Thanks to the use of high-quality steel, the grapples are durable yet lightweight, thereby minimizing wear on the excavator. The blade is positioned at the bottom of the shear to reach the stump as low as possible.
Compared with the risks associated with chainsaw operations, such as kickback, the excavator operator can cut and hold the tree safely using the tree shear. The need for workers to be close to hazardous cutting areas is eliminated. Installation and maintenance are easy, and learning to use the tree shear is relatively simple. The TSX6 is capable of cutting round wood up to 180 millimeters, depending on the tree species.
